Terms of Service

By creating an account or using LumeClip, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
LumeClip is a SaaS platform that processes user-submitted videos, generates short captioned clips, and delivers them via download or Google Drive. The service is provided "as is", with reasonable availability efforts but without SLA guarantees for free plans.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use LumeClip. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LumeClip to:
- Process content you do not have the right to reproduce or modify.
- Generate or distribute deepfakes of real individuals without their express, documented consent.
- Create content that infringes copyrights, privacy laws, or third-party rights.
- Circumvent security mechanisms, quotas, or plan restrictions.
- Use the platform for illegal or harmful purposes.
4. User content
You retain all rights to the videos you submit. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the contracted service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit does not infringe third-party rights. LumeClip is not liable for content submitted by users.
5. Plans and payments
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
- Cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle — you retain access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis for charges within the last 7 days. Request via email.
- Unused minutes in a given month do not roll over to the next month.
- The Free plan includes 30 one-time minutes, with a watermark on generated clips.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice in cases of violation of these Terms, fraud, or use that compromises the security of the service. In non-urgent cases, we will notify you by email with 7 days' notice.
7. Availability
We strive to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary unavailability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumeClip is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 3 months.
9. Intellectual property
The LumeClip platform, including its code, design, and brand, is the exclusive property of its creators. Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual property rights to the user beyond the right to use the service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP.
11. Changes
Material changes to these Terms will be notified by email with 15 days' advance notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
